A close game on ‘The Planka’ saw Tref-Y-Clawdd RFC take the spoils with a 14-15 win.  It was Tref who came out of the blocks quickest and controlled the opening 20 minutes which resulted in them crossing in the corner for a try that went unconverted. In a topsy turvey game it was Ogmores turn to control the next 20, winning quite a few penalties, particularly at scrum time but only managing to come away with 2 Karl Jones penalty kicks making the score 6-5. Then just on the stroke of half time Tref scored their 2nd try of the game, again coming wide out with the conversion missed. HT O.....
