Alot of fixtures fell to the weather this weekend but Ogmore Park once again proved to be a perfect playing surface as the game against Pontyates who sit one place above the mighty Og in the league standings went ahead. Tough playing conditions made for a slow start but the superb kicking boot of Kane Ryan Jones kept the scoreboard ticking over giving Ogmore a 9-0 lead. A well worked try brought the visitors back in contention until another solid kick from fly-half Kane Ryan Jones put ogmore ahead going into the half at 12-7. Second half was pretty much the same with the rain pouring down on Ogmore Park, but a well worked try by the pacey Hooker Gareth Dunn put the score out of reach for the visitors at full-time 19-7.
